Real McCoy or McDial?

Here's one for those of you who are developing some fine distinctions in determining whether a Constellation dial is real or refinished.

  1. I picked the "MOY" rule & mis-aligned star. As a general rule should the distinctive "M" be present in chronometer script? (ie the same as the automatic script.
    I have also noticed some dials with constellation script touching the star, which is obviously wrong, however is there a standard for the correct spacing??
    Great post for new collectors, like myself, to improve their knowledge. Well Done!! :-))

  4. Hi Bluesky. The spacing needs to be in perfect balance, both to the applied Symbol and logo and in the relationship with each line of script
