File Sharer Down and Now Up

Snapdrive.net, the outfit that takes my money for file storage, is down.....and maybe out!  Not that I would have known about it, as this company doesn't seem to think it necessary to send a bulk email out to customers advising them of such matters.  Nor does it care to entertain user queries, having shut down its help service.

I am in the process of transferring my files to a more secure, reliable and trustworthy file host.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience

UPDATE

I have now transferred most of my files to a new file server and hopefully most, if not all, links are now active.  If you find a dead link, please let me know.

  1. Hi Desmond,

I haven;t been able to open a few of your essays, namely the "Golden Seamaster" one for quite sometime. It shows up as a Google Docs pdf file. Any insights? Thanks in advance!

  3. Well, I went ahead and tried a few other essay links with no problems, but the essay in question will not open still, nor will it allow for a download. It simply says "Sorry, we are unable to generate a view of the document at this time". Weird. I'll keep digging in trying to find a solution.

  4. Hmm strange. I went to http://omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.com/2007/07/omega-seamaster-golden-chronometres.html on my office computer and then clicked on the link and it offered the pdf.

Is that where youre trying to access the file?

Lets know if that option works anyway.

    Cheers

  7. Hello Mr. Mondodes,

I'm a newbie in Omega world and I'm considering to buy an Omega Constellation. I'm eyeing Constellation 160 years (111.15.23.60.55.001) or Constellation Brushed Quartz (123.15.24.60.55.002). It's not like I'm buying a luxury watch everyday, so I would like to make a good buy. I would appreciate your view on this matter. You can directly email me at adeleenk@hotmail.com.

P/S: Sorry if my message is out of topic. I couldn't find your email address on the blog.

    Thank you!

  8. Hi Adelene

I generally specialise in vintage Constellations and so am not able to assist, however if you join a watch forum like watchuseek, timezone or puristpro you can ask members questions and advice - it very worthwhile.

    Hope that helps

    Cheers

    Desmond
